Championing human dignity

Since 2007, I have proposed measures to promote better standards of end-of-life care and to assist victims of human trafficking. I also introduced the Stem Cell Research (Protection of Human Embryos) Bill.

If re-elected I will:

• Establish a cross-party group to promote higher standards of end-of-life care at home, in hospitals, and in nursing homes;
• Push for Ireland to become a centre of excellence in ethical and promising adult stem cell research.
